on 140Ib Cold Pressed paper. I learnt a great deal painting it and really enjoyed it.

Its from a book called "Painting with Watercolours" by William Newton.

Carol: I tried to fix the colour intensity problem the camera introduces but its still not quite right. I'll need to find some better image editing software.

Hi Mark,

I think it's beautiful, even with the color intensity from the camera. Do you think you could show us the reference pictures?

I'm not sure what the camera is doing to your image but I love the glow of the colors.

The shadows soften the bright sunshine very well.

There is an overall warmth to this piece yet I can feel a crispness in the air, as if fall is not far behind. Nice piece.
