Hi and welcome to wc, this is a nice piece, but I think it needs more tonal contrasts to make it "pop" .
Every child is an artist, The problem is to remain an artist when he grows up,----Pablo Ruizy Picasso.
Its a neat painting, but I agree needs more contrast and shading on petals, that would make your focal point petal pop out,

I think the perspective on the flowers is really nice...and some contrast would take the eye into the depths of them instead of just the surface.
Maybe its just me...but the two petals at the top hanging down grab too much attention...I'd put them into shadow more or add some leaves in the depths under them.

Thank you all After looking at the painting a bit longer I see what you all mean. I'm going to work on it some more and then I'll repost it.

Hi Todd and welcome to the forum! I can't add to the suggestions already made here, except I would like to see the stems a different hue than the flower themselves. I will be looking forward to your corrected post, this is a lovely composition http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi Todd and welcome. Besides the other comments you might want more background leaves on the right. It seems to come down and just kiss the other leaves and flowers - maybe a bit more overlap. This is a small point but I noticed because I just finished a piece and then realized that I had to many tangents where instead of a good solid overlap I had just let them kiss.
I like the painting but would add some darker values to create a greater depth.
