18x24, When asked to describe my style I draw a blank, can anyone help

I'd have to see more of your work to see if this painting fits in with your overall style or if its just the beginning of your style. I hope that makes sense.

It has an expressionist quality about it...using the imaginary images around the more representational to set a mood. It makes me wonder what you 'feel' about the city or how you see the world when you look at it...that sort of thing.

Can't help you on the classification but I really do love this. You can read so much into it....Does the creature represent the pollution of the environment, an evil monster lurking in the night, are you living in a fire prone area. It stirs up a lot of emotion. Great painting and welcome to Wetcanvas. Mary

appreciate the comments they are extremely helpful, with this particular piece I was trying to express my feelings of this morbid city looking out of a warm window full of my sculptures. The painting is about contrast, warm and cool colors, and depression and joy.
