Hello everyone! I just love this site...
I just got an easel and was wondering about all the slots and brass hardware that came with it. There is no instructions. Where do you actually put your canvas. If you are doing watercolors on paper, do you put use it on your strecher canvas and put in on the easel like that?

Is there an art store near you that could help you out? There are so many different types of easels it would be hard to give assistance without seeing what you have. I generally tape my watercolour paper to a drawing board and paint at a slant while sitting down. Or I use a product called Gator Board that you can staple your paper to. You may be able to find a picture of your easel assembled and go from there. I hope you can get it put together, good luck http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Welcome Marina,
can you tell us the name of the easel. Most easels when assembled have two adjustable rests that hold your drawing board on which the paper is fixed,
