i really dig this painting, i love the big shapes you used, keep up the groovy work
Thanks the_walrus for your encouragement. I wish I could paint better, more realistic but my teacher like this way, It's more modern, contemporary looking. So im following his directions for now, maybe someday get to paint more classical.
thanks for your comment.Im glad you Dig the painting.

It's a GREAT expression!! Good design/balance and use of color. I really like the contrasting colors of her bottoms!!! Nice touch. ;)
Thank you guys for your encouraging comments. WOW, they really make me feel good about the painting. Thanks

I agree with your instructor. Realism wouldn't fit these. Your intuitive, expansive figures are a strength not a weakness. Love the quirky composition on this one. These are fun & I can tell you're enjoying them.

Thank you Michael-ann and TheManda. It's been a blast painting them. The roaring 20's and the 30's were great era. Betty Davis, Greta Garbo, the golden era of movies, the Jazz, the dancing clubs, The big bands and the cabaret numbers, dancers, performers, comedians etc....
thanks for your imput.
