I posted this earlier from my digital camera. I was having some scanner problems. Here is the scanned version; sharper, brighter. (Sorry about double posting this!)

Great piece, I like all of it. At first I thought Oh I really like her sky, no I like the water better, and the trees, then I thought Great Piece http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks y'all.

The blue sky, btw, is a new color on my palette; it's Winsor-Newton manganese blue. It really captured to me that feeling of a Florida sky. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

I'm glad you posted again. This is more the color I was expecting for the beach. I really like you thunderheads! My only suggestion would be to have some variation in some of your horizontals: bottom of clouds, horizon, bottom of trees, beach all are seem quite identical - Maybe some variation on the tree line? or in the sand?

Beautiful sky! I love the Manganese blue...it may have to go on my "need to buy" list.

Yes it does make a difference. I liked the other one but this is more clear and you can see the details. Mary

This is great Jane. Looks just like the spot. I didn't get any chigger bites either. I guess they just liked you! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif

Jane , this is great. I'm sure you can look at this and smile. Your colors are clean and fresh and caught the scenery very well. It makes me want to be back there all ready http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif Sandy
