This took quite a while to do... Have a whole new respect for Martin Handford, the "Where's Waldo" guy. This is for a 2nd grade school book... It's about sounds in the neighborhood.

I love that scardy little cat in the first detail!
Your work is always filled with so much detail it amazes me. Do you start out with pencil sketches, or do you work everything from scratch on a computer?

Phil, this looks exhaustive and exhausting! Great stuff. This will keep kids busy for a while.

Axl... Thanks... :) ...No prepencils. It's all done from initial sketches to final image in Photoshop on my computer and Wacom tablet.
Ted... yes, it did take somewhat longer than I guesstimated...

Dang.....I was gonna pick out the cat too...ah well.... :) that's what I get for being slow on the draw....
Cool work, Phil!!..... would be a great poster....I admire your stamina to sit at your computer that long....I can't....I'd rather be at my drawing table or painting by hand.....guess I'm just old school....
Also I liked the texture in the grass....looks like it was scratched in...
I go blind just looking at "Where's Waldo" - can't imagine trying to draw it all...
Ain't it great when something takes longer than you guestimated or felt it should take? And you priced it that way.....have put my foot in that hole many times.....
