Helen as this was loading I could see the resemblance to you in his eyes. Nice job. I carry a set of watercolour pencils in my car all the time for quick sketching. I love them http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Awww, what a beautiful baby!!!! Why is it the boys get the lashes and the girls get shafted? LOL My 5 year old has lashes like your son. I have horsehair on my eyelids.
It is really disgusting. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well, I bought some watercolour pencils today and was anxious to come home and use them and see what they're like!
I did this sketch of my son Jeddie when he was a bit younger:

( No, those eyelashes are NOT an exaggeration! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif )
I really enjoyed this! I used some prismacolor pencils as well, for the bits I didn't want to smudge. Don't know if this is the 'correct' procedure or not, but it seemed to work for me!
I have some characters planned for a children's book, and I've been looking for a medium to do the artwork in - I think this may be it! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
