nosing around on black paper- progress pic

This is my first drawing with my prismacolors...kind of an unusual perspective of a horse. I like working on the black paper, though perhaps this wasn't the best picture to do it on. I'll post progress pics as I do more. This has about an hour and a half into it. I am mostly a graphite artist, so learning about blending colors is all new to me.
