I like the way you have used your charcoal, Davinci. The planes of his face are especially good. Was it a fast study?

I like this. You've got the face down with great accuracy. I think if
you darken in the pupil of the right eye,as you have with the left it will give it greater contrast. I only ever used charcoal twice and never again :D it's too damn messy.

his eyes are off line. as well as the nose. if you were looking at the head on the same plane, then the right eye(our right) should be higher. if you were looking up at the sitter, then you have to show the bottom of the nose and angle the right eye a bit.....{M}
