here is a street painting I did over the weekend at the annual la strada dell arte street festival here in kansas city. the image doesn't capture the vibrance like i wish it would. it was windy as well so the overall image got muddy over the two day event.
next time i'll take detail shots as i work if it's windy out.

anyway as a side question i was wondering if anyone uses hardboard or masonite, primed with gesso, as a support for pastels and if so would fixative suffice to perserve it?

enjoy the image. comments appreciated

This is delightful! I want to pick it up and take them home with me! That's a difficult perspective but you pulled it off 'easily'. I envy your confidence and ability. Wonderful colors too.
Welcome to WC by the way. :)

4Vincent works on a lot of fun stuff. Hopefully he'll be by to read the forums soon. If not, I'm sure it'd be okay to drop him a line.
