I have always had the hardest time with flowers. The petals would run into each other, they would be uneven, I just could not get them right. Until I had one of those "how come I did'nt think of that" moments. I had always tryed to put the petals on the bead and then put the dot in the middle. So I tryed it the other way. WOW! It worked! I just poke a few holes in the bead, put 5 (or 4 or 3) white dots around it, put another color over that. Then I melt it in a tiny bit and rake it towards the middle so it has a dent in the middle of the petal. And BAM! It worked! I have had up to 7 flowers on a bead!.
A really good tip I read somwhere was, to give the flowers more depth, when you do the top color to do it a little liter on the outside, and a little darker on the inside of the petal. It makes it look like its going down.
These are the 2 best pairs I have done so far.
What do ya think?

Those florals have nice depth and they really are matching sets (I'm lucky if they are just close to being same size) Cant wait to see what your going to make with them.

Those are way to cool for floral beads. Thank you for the information on how you pulled them into the center. I've been at this for some time and still have alot of work to do before any of them will get posted.
