Last stop and a late lunch at Cowichan Bay, a very colourful stretch of docks, cafes and funky shops.
1. They'd delivered my boat...I wish

Wasn't that boat gorgeous, Carol? I couldn't resist a few shots of it too. However, in the interests of variety, here are some other views of "Cow Bay" and the village.
1. A couple of freighters rafted together:

2. A jungle of ramps:

3. Kayaking, anyone?

4. Home sweet home on the water:

5. more colour on land - one of the cafes:

6. Not everything was all gussied up, though:

Wow you guys have blown my sox off. I love the different perspectives that you both took. A bit like when Lesley and I get together (all to rare being 1000km away will do that :( )
Loved the removal of chimneys and window views in the last set. Love the boats in this set ... and the confusion of ramps V and the reflections, love the ghost and the boats Carol. Well done both of you for having a great trip and finding the time to post some gorgeous pics.

Raptuous applause! More! More!
Thanks from me too for the lovely day out. Glad we got to stop for lunch I was getting hungry ;) :D
In some ways I think this is the best thread of the three. I was going to try and choose a favourite out of each set of photo's but it's impossible to do, I like all of them.
When are we all off out for the next trip?
Kate.

Very nice work Veronica  Love the confusion of ramps! I'm glad August is nearly here, I'm ready for the next day out.
Thanks for looking and for your comments everyone. I find it really interesting to both be in the same places and taking what you would think are the same shots, then seeing the different results. Also it's wonderful having a friend who wants to do the same things you do, thanks Veronica :D

Thanks for looking, Maria, Windy and Kate!
Maria - yes, I think this group is my favourite too - always the sucker for colour, and this place had so much of it! Could have spent the day there. Thanks too for the welcome back. I'm limiting myself to the pub at the moment, but really enjoying being here.
Windy - yes, it's lovely having a friend to go shooting with. The distance between you and Lesley does seem a bit daunting though...
Carol - thank you too. This wouldn't have happened without you :)

I like this group of photos best, too. You two have so much fun and I really enjoy tagging along.
Carol I love the Bakery...(loaves and fishes) . That is a wonderful composition.... and that bread looks good enough to eat :D .
V, so good to see you posting again. I like #3...it is so colorful and good composition...and I also like #6 very much.
Thanks for posting these.
Kathy
