M. reallly?! cool! thank you:D

Thank you bunches Wave Rider.

Here's another head I just did without turpentine...Abstract and contemporary is prolly tired of all my heads, so I thought I'd just pile some here...This one would be Mr. Dunno.

Hi, what is your inspiration for these heads, are they people you know? or do they come from your imagination? they really are fabulous!! your style is very exciting!!

Thank you Dana :D YES~ blue nudies!

Balfour44 :) These are in my head...most are in my head, but a few are from real life - I like to periodically "stalk" people at the bookstore and restaurants, whatever. Thank you bunches for the nice words.

Here's Dunno after bathing in turpentine...which do you think is better?

Oh and the head of my guy from tonight too

very fun funky green eyed blue nude,
I like that, just paint all those crazy characters on one big canvas, everyone its own little square.

*LOL*....had a bit of shock on the first one. Was enjoying the picassoish face then scrolled down a bit more....whoaaaa! kind of "in your face" boobers!! The way you painted them I expected the nipples to be rotating. kewl

the second one shows a very spacy person. :D

Beverly :D The boobers were an afterthought...It seemed she needed something to prop that big head up on ;)

Thank you Caroline...I surely don't know where all these heads are taking me...the big canvas idea sounds intriguing.

Angela...thank you muchly! and thanks for mentioning style :)

Ermm, you say you stalk these people in coffee shops and places. I saw a couple of really nice young girls on a market stall the other day and you know me, I mean I wouldn't have any wicked intentions would I, but they saw me looking at them thinking how great they'd be for models, and I mean I only looked for 2 seconds, so they burst out laughing and looked the other way.

So - how do you get away with it? I know, I've printed a paintings folder, I'll hit them with it before they know what day it is and dazzle them with my olde world charm. Well Manet decided on Victorine for a model and she burst out laughing, but he never gave up on anything it seems.

Michael,
I guess this might be my primal maleness explaination ...but her breasts and the freedom of the pastel is beautiful. Yet her eyes are more drawn from a conventional space...they seem to be drawn where as I see the body and especially the breast as painted. And her lips and mouth are of that swishy oil pastel bleed with the turpentine... I am loving some of the peices on your site...Fun da mental is excellent work..~~

Big Blue Head .. LOL .. now how's a guy supposed to look her in the eyes :D

I like # 2 best in the group .. maybe because that's how I feel most days .. too much to do and not enough time to do it.

whatever you do, keep that brain on fry .. your work is inspiring.
