Okay, i searched for some answers to my quesiton but didn't find any...

How are some ways to reduce the size of an image file, without reducing the quality of the image??!!! I know i have read some on how to do this before. But i cannot seem to remember. And i don't remember having this problem before. But other than making it greyscale rather that color (i'm working with graphite drawings) i can't figure out what else to do that doesn't make the image blurry! :p

Any tips???? Please! ;)

I use Polyview to reduce image sizes without ruining the definition.
It used to be free and obtainable from http://www.polybytes.com/
In any case you could download a copy just to try it out

There are several freeware programs listed in this page:

They cater for JPG, GIF and PNG files.

Are you using Photoshop? If so, what version? Most versions of Photoshop have a Save for Web option which allows you to adjust the controls while you see the resulting image. You'll probably want it to be a jpeg image, but you can try a gif image with fewer colors to see if the size is smaller. Also in Photoshop, you can view the original while viewing the resulting image with various output controls set.

If you e-mail me the file I'll give you an idea of what is reasonable to expect for the file size.
