What a great composition. Wish I could see his colors more clearly. Was the W&N paper watercolor paper? Did you use any "wet" techniques?

Thnx for your cooment. The Pelican has been framed. I'm sure the glass has covered the real color. The Pelican is white. I did it on grey W&N paper. I am not so sure whether the W&N paper is water color paper or not. I did not find any detail information on the paper. But, I had ever tried a wet techniques on the paper of my other work...I don't think the paper is created for water colour. No wet techniques I used for this.
I had cropped part of its body, maybe u can catch the real colour.
