We are done now.
I sat there in the dark, his whole back covering the light. and I kept thinking how do I get this teeny picture to glow like he does.
In open studio they have those nasty overhead green lights and most of my illumination was from them. His shadows were very violet and the pink of his skin seems a bit warmer.

So ends my experiment with organization.
The last one, I still have but I tried to put the light in and it should be titled "Naked guy meets space aliens" in otherwords, you ain't seein' it!!!

These are very nice for saying you did them in twenty minute posses. If you had more time, they wouldn't probably be so nice, for if your like me, you would over work them. So free! Movement is very well done. Great job!

These are really interesting; thanks for posting them. I'm amazed that you could get so much liveliness and express the shading so well in only twenty minutes while still laying down an anatomically accurate figure. What kind of oil setup did you use for class? I had decided to stick with trying to learn pastels instead of going with my tried and true oils for the live model class I'm taking now. Maybe I should rethink that.
