Ok, gang, I am at it again: 20 minute oils.
Got four good ones and I will scan in my two minutes later, they are almost dry.
Our model was Richard. Tall lanky and really good poser. Stable, but I hate tall guys. You have to get back so far when they stand up to see all of them!
But I digress again.
Here was my plan of attack:
I cut up some of my roll of primed canvas and did a really bad job. Not one was square so I taped them on a board and took a 4x5 frame and traced a square in the center, just in case I felt the urge to frame them.
Seemed like a plan.
I ended up straight into the light. All of them were practically haloed.
I didn't have time to do my slop, so I started on white. My first one was so bad, you are spared it. After the break I rubbed a lot of the mush from my pallet on just to keep a toned background and the first one that turned out was this:

I simply will not stay inside the lines.
