hello, first time to post in the inspirational room. wow, some great work in here! This is a pix of my eldest daughter worshipping in dance, at our church. I took it abit beyond the natural and envisioned that, as the Bible says, "the gates of hell shall not prevail".

Oh wow, this is really nice. I like that you can see her through the material, and the work you did on the flames is very realistic. What church do you belong to? I went to one when I was a child that did not allow dance of any kind, then later in life dance and singing were a big part of workship. I believe I prefer the latter.

Hi Sassy, thank u for your kind words. We belong to a non denominational church, 'sherwood bible church'. Im so blessed, I am the the p*w drummer, my wife leads the dance/tambourine troop, eldest daughter sings in the band and dances, middle daughter dances and for right now, the baby girl just looks pretty :D
we too believe in worshipping in dance and song. We're not over the top so as to scare folk, were kinda 'bapticostal' .....
(however, when im in one of 'those' moods, i do get a kick out of welcoming newcomers by telling them that since its their first time, they dont have to handle the snake.... :D

awesome painting!!! I too grew up not being allowed to dance and so love the opportunity to dance in worship now as well as be ministered to by those that dance as a ministry.

Again, lovely painting (digital... right?) ... really speaks volumes.

Very creative image and important message you have created! I love to watch interpretive dance and would love to put a group together at our church. Maybe one day soon! I know I can get lots of tips from a cousin who not only has a group, but also teaches dance. :)

Keep up the good work, serving Him is always worthy of our time.

This is so unique, I can't find the words to describe it! Compelling would be a close one. I love the rich colors you've chosen. Beautiful job!

Nicely done, I'm not sure I would have placed her in the middle of the page. That is my only nit-pick...
