The images you will view and choose from were taken by a friend of mine a trip to the Grand Canyon and then all the others are of his weekly weekend visits to and from Catalina Island in California. He lives on Whisper. His name is Scott so please don’t forget to thank him for all the great photos.

You can create your artwork anytime during the weekend. You have 1/2 hour to choose a photo, and two hours to create your original work of art -- using whatever media you like. You can then post a new thread in the All Media Art Events section - with “WDE” and “JULY 10th” or “7/10” in the title. Don’t worry if you don’t finish your painting in that timeframe – just post what you’ve accomplished so far … you can always update your thread later.

Event times are below. Images will be posted a half hour prior to start time.

New York-Sat 4pm, Paris-Sat 10pm, Anchorage-Sat 12pm, Amsterdam-Sat 10pm, New Orleans-Sat 3pm, Vancouver-Sat 1pm, Manila-Sun 4pm, London-Sat 9pm, Halifax-Sat 5 pm, Sydney- Sun 6am, Toronto- Sat 4pm, US Mountain time-Sat 2pm, Helsinki-11pm

Hope each of you will find your favorite theme to work with! Looking forward for a great WDE with you all!

Thanks for the invitation. :) Sounds like fun!

Last two weekends I was busy moving into my new home, so I missed the WDE's. Really looking forward to seeing y'all this weekend, "God willin' & the creek don't rise!"

Thanks, Valri (& Scott) for vistas to come. ;)

Azur... follow the link in my post above ...the all media link. Once there, look for the thread with the lightbulb beside it. It's a weekend event but people join in throughout the week. Here :
