The excellent painting by scottb and the comments by scientist Dave and the current international situation reminded me of this pen work done ten years ago.

well done, glad you got it to show up. The use of squares and the spotted curved and bent "bands" give a nice rythym/structure, the curves keep it from being too static, and add a nice flow. Also, I am glad that the image is not made using perfectly straight/paralell lines everywhere, and compass type curves, keeps it from being harsh, which black and white can do sometimes.

I agree that the image is rather harsh. But war IS a very harsh thing. Thanks for your comments.

I said; it is not harsh. it has an organic quality that stops it from being harsh. :)
