I found this link in the New York Times Archive. I think his work is just fantastic and very funny. See what you think.
Here is a link to the main page (http://theater.nytimes.com/ref/theater/hirschfeld/index.html?rf=index.html)
and this (http://theater.nytimes.com/ref/theater/hirschfeld/index.html?rf=show/index.html) is the link to the archive itself.

I love his work too, Chris! I found that link some time ago, and kept trying to remind myself to share it with everyone here. Obviously, my reminder system needs some work. :D

Great stuff!! I this the artist who "hid" his daughter's name in all of his work?? If not this man, it's someone with a very similar style and I'd love to know who it is. Thanks for the link, Chris!!
:D :D :D

I wish I knew for sure, Dave. I remember seeing a bio on TV in the recent past, like last year, and I just thought it was so cool that he did that, not to mention that his inks were fantastic carcicatures of celebrities and the like. Maybe someone can jog my memory out there...???
