I really like these watercolors ...

very stylized, and the 'unfinished' quality works well, I think.

thanks for posting them

these "spontaneous" groupings of people are fun...
simplicity of color through out
(interesting the one red in the center...?)
the non detail areas mingled with
the small, simply detailed areas
holds it together as one
rather that so many separate...

yes, I do like it very much...

Kia is my wife
she acuses me of trying to paint like dornberg wherever possible and having busy backgrounds etc. and she wants me to paint more like you, but I only recently heard of dornberg and I like going how it's going so far - and i think my stuf kinda looks like itself not like someone elses particularly. and besides, where wil I get the nude models to spread like that anyway.

eye and form absorbed into the amalgam
attracted to the dark figure
peering back at me
an intimate moment in an uncaring crowd
vacilations between positive and negative
this ensemble seems to have
the best choreography so far

pampe: It was the hops in the Newcastle Brown that got me loquacious. And, living in the woods like you do, you get dispensation for warming up the globe with your Outback.

Jerry, I love your mournful note:) My warm regards to Kia.
I've seen some beautiful things by Dornberg. Your conclusion is impeccable- do your own. The more you work, the more the work can only be your own.
Thank you Ceu and Zotma.
