This is the picture I drew of Daniela. She's the girlfriend of my venezuelan friend. I drew this for their anniversary, and they live in Caracas :| 28 dollars for shipping. Good thing he's paying me :). Anyway, please leave your comments (the second scan is dark and makes me want to throw up :|)

As far as the drawing goes, it's nicely done. I'm also glad to see that it's not a copy of copywrited work.
As far as the composition, I feel that the knees distract from the drawing and pull attention away from the face. If it were me, I'd crop those knees off or add more to the legs.
Don't be a slave to photos. You are talented enought to make changes if it will help your drawings.

Is there a story behind Daniela's unusual pose? It's a wonderful drawing & I love the movement of the hair.

Very powerful drawing. The knees don't bother me but only add to the drama of the picture. Very well done.

I love the power of this drawing and the unusual cropping. The knees add a wonderful living mass and the hands are really expressive.

I like the unusual pose also. :) Sounds like there may be an interesting story behind this as well. I don't think there is any reason for you to be nervous about posting! ;)
