Nice start! I likw the pale creamy color on the rose. Keep us posted!

OK, here's the update...
Another 2-3 hours.
Note that I didn't have a pink, I only had red, yellow, blue (all primaries), black, white, yellow ochre and 2-3 browns.
That's the reason the pink rose became a pale red rose. :) ;)
I don't think it's finished yet. So, I will probably post the finished image tomorrow (well, in whatever condition it is - after I work at it some more, of course).

It's coming along beautifully - the petals on the L/H rose are particularly good
I do understand the difficulties you face with a limited supply of colours - it's so difficult for flowers, much easier to use limited palette on landscapes etc.! :)

Heartista, this is looking lovely and soft. You show a very delicate touch on your roses and I love the color you have achieved. I will check later for the final.

Lovely so far Heartista ! Very nice detail and the petals. You're doing a terrific job with that limited palette.

Thank you all for the kind comments.

My apologies for the late post, but when I opened it I find that you have made it a progression posting, and that's always a great treat !!
The petals have just popped to life- amazing what you have done with a limited palette. Pink or 'red' (it shows a lovely soft fresh pink on my monitor) the final colour is delightful! Good job !!
