The contact info yeilds someone who doesn't know anything about it. :::sigh::: I will NEVER understand why eBay doesn't put some sort of limits on new bidders.

we had one of those ninkompoops bid on one of our auctions as well (different one though) - when we reported him we were told he was nru...

they really should have some sort of bidding limit on the buyers, just like they put all the restrictions on the sellers, just to make it fair.

I hate to block someone without absolute proof but, with doing all charity listings, it's such a hassle to get an NPB (I have to pay, then ask for a refund of, the charity donation). I have two going on now. If it turns out the buyer is just an eccentric millionaire and pays, please let us know (or PM me).

Well, here's absolute proof. Invalid contact info.

I pulled the contact info and gave him a call. I reached an Islamic Society. The man who answered said that that person no longer worked there but was a friend of his and he couldn't understand him doing something like this. He gave me the number to his office. He's a doctor.

I called and spoke with his secretary and she checked into it and got back to me. Someone is using his name falsely.

I can think of two possibilities. Either the Doc has a child thinking they are being funny pulling pranks, or someone is trying to give Islamic people a bad name. Anyway, everyone I spoke to were very professional and worked to try and help me figure it out. So, yeah. It's a deadbeat bidder with a fake ID.

Me thinks I am done with them after this. I have a negative from an idiot with 500 negatives and has long since been kicked off but they can't retract the negative because they don't want to dirty their hands. Now I have an outright idiot bid probably by some underage who isn't allowed by law to bid and they get to keep my twenty plus dollars .. lovely.

OK. Found a silver level PS phone for malicious bidding. I called them and he should be NARU'd in about 5 minutes or so. I'd go ahead and request a full credit. They might do so if you explain about the fraud involved.

This is one of the reasons I never use BIN.

Needed a piece of cushin flooring and went to look at remmenants ..

bad news .. had a big kink in the middle .
good news .. the guy gave it to me for free ..
more good news .. the crinkle was in the middle of a 12 x 8 roll and I only needed a 5.5 by 7 so I got what I wanted for free ..

Best News: my angel still takes care of me. :D
