Hi mclaughlin: I like the simplicity of this drawing and the splash of color really adds to the piece!! Great job!! :D
I hope to have a new ink drawing to add to the forum soon. Maybe this weekend :)

Hi mclaughlin, I like the soft colors, white spaces, and simple lines in this work. Very peaceful !
What was your reference, are the figures Taoist monks ? I used to practice the Tai-Chi exercises which are based on the Toaist philosopy and just wondered about the figures.

Hi,
A very interesting drawing. A combination of watercolor and ink lines is very good here and has something common with traditional Asian drawings (Japanese, Chinese).

RuthT: I came to the Tao after I read Konfuzius. I didn't understand much, but I felt very peaceful inside. The figures are monks, climbing the hill of Life...
