Hi there, I've not posted here since March I think. I don't even remember there being a "figure forum" so, here is a quickie from an open studio a while back...

I really like the body types that society labels "unattractive" for draing - at least in the case of women.
"Attractive" men AFAIK have more shadows to draw, because of a heavy build.
While the "Attractive" female images lack interesting forms like skin/fat folds and lumps (other that breasts)
Her hand here seems to have a second thumb, but I guess that's just the back of the chair.
I really like your highlights... I've got to buy a white charcoal pencil. But I haven't seen any in the art shop in town (well, there's no art shop in Winona, but I've been to the one in Menomonie)

She was one of the most interesting models I've drawn in my limited experience. Funny about the second thumb, yes, it is what was behind her hand but it does actually read a little funny now that you mention it.
As far as the white pencil, a white pastel pencil works nicely also.
