I was so frustrated with my first painting that I did this one just so I could throw around some colors without worrying whether they were exact and just purely have fun, which I did.

Such a happy photo.

Love those colors. The composition is great...beach line leads to couple...horizon line leads to setting sun...couple and sun line up vertically, right of center.

I just love how the colors blend in your sky. I'm glad you had fun with this one, it shows, it has a real light quality to it.

You've done an excellent job on this picture. I especially love the blending of the sky colours, and the ripples/waves in the water. The couple walking down the beach look comfortable, don't they? Thanks for participating this weekend.

I LOVE the light on the water and that sky is brilliant - in fact the whole thing is but they are my favourite bits. :D

I particularly like the way you have done the water, with and without sunset reflections.

You are one of many who has done an excellent job with that photo! It's such a relaxing scene away from the noise of the city. Wish I were there.

This is pretty. But Wynn is right . That water is excellent. Might have to make some studies of it to see if it works for me.

My initial response was "Ahhh ! Friendship and love" Made me smile because we need more of this, every one of us. Then after admiring the strength and protective feel of the big tree, I wandered into that beautiful sunset- what lovely colours. A very gentle and comforting painting! I'm glad you felt you were able to be free with this painting, it has great Kharma    And hey, these WDE's are supposed to be fun!!
