This is an interesting mix of line and color. It reminds me of pen and ink and water color. I like the way you shaded the petals of the flowers and the leaves in the upper right corner.

That is a neat technique! I really like how soft the flowers are compared to the strong lines....beautiful colors, too.

Andrew -- very neat effect on your "work of art". This looks like a great medium to try some day. Your ink lines around each petal and leaf really stand out. Thanks for participating.

Ooo, lovely! That scratchboard tool gives a nice effect with the watercolor look.
Are you happy with that software? I just have Painter Classic, came with the Wacom, but eventually will get something with a little more to it.

Lovely and fluid Andrew - almost like true wc! :)
I like these, but I like your real paintings too, so are we to see more?????? :)
Just kidding! Your ability shines through whatever the medium and I really do like the 'pen' work here too!

Thanks all - no I haven't given up on the traditional painting, just don't seem to have enough time for it these days. This was a nice way of spending an hour or so..

Neat job. You didn't overdo it as can be tempting in those wonderful graphics programs.

This is what makes programs like Painter so wonderful! I'll never forget the first time I got Painter and played around with it...a fantasy come true! This is a great use of the tools...would make a great print on fabric, as well! Since getting back into art on paper, I haven't dusted off my paint programs and you've made me think I should. Great work!
