beautiful subtle colours
and calm energies in the
motion of the branches
another excellent example
of your talent
is it painted on silk?

This has something special.
My attention was drawn first to that darker part of the branch and I had to look around and find out what all this is about, which at last was a little surprise.

this is beautifully done...
I can feel the chill in the air and the snow beneith my feet...
and still feel the warmth and comfort of my own home...
I guess that is because this picture reminds me
of looking a snow birds out my window in the winter
(of course our variety is different looking and there are no flowers on the trees...but you get the idea...)

in north china, thse plum trees will bloom beautifully in late winter and early spring, (but they do not have flowers in summer),with the snow piles up on the branches ,some kind of birds will come on the trees.
I saw it once in springfield,Illinoi, the branch frozon sparkling .under the sun twilight...it was wonderful, wish I could paint that.

had impulse not commented first I would be upset since this is one of the most most most smashing of all your oriental style - not all fall to that direction (traditional asian style).
I love what you did here. the plum is a plumb
contradictory ideas make tension too, and this is certainly one.

Is there somewhere I can see this better? I can tell it's so light and delicate and the computer looks grainy. What causes that?

linda,thanks for reply.
sorry, it is light and blurry because I want to show is snow day, not much light and the view should be blury, I use 24 bit ,800x600. you can download it ,use some digital program to enlarge, and change to a deeper tone if you like. I cannot show the picture over 600 limitas it is require by WC.

no,no, I know it's not what you've done. I can see that and it's beautiful. What I'm seeing is definately computer. Must be mine.
Maybe I need to change some setting. I'm not very good at computers.

try to use high relolution and hi color , also high contrast and
and gramma may help.
Again, beautiful. Leaving out is much more difficult than filling up space.
Good stuff, Rosanna.

I am glad that you point that out.
