I live how this has come together.
the color areas glow, fit, and complement each other in an easy and lyrical way.

there you go doing good paintings
on top of good paintings again
it is very nice and has a great
night mood and lazy excitement
as for the stairs i noticed you
have the same value in
each steps and riser pair
some differentiation between
step and riser value will make form
another nice piece ceu

Sorry, Ceu, I cannot see a thing here! All dark...
Love this *S*
Impulse just a question. If she made the bottom stairs wider than at the top, foot with wise, wouldn't that show more like steps plus lighter on the step it's self? Just asking cause I'm not sure. That's what I would try

I love the colors, richness, substance of your work. Will offer personal thought regarding stairs...you might open (widen) at the bottom with a slight curve toward the figures.

I'm glad you brought out the lamps. Do you think lightening the sky a little might emphasize the darkness in the street? A little night glow:)
Just a thought.

I would like to see a bit more night glow too.

Ceu...this is lovely...
Impulse had the best observations for the stairs...
the stairs need light assigned to them...
the risers...the parts going up
the steps...the flats where one steps
all need the light assigned to them that they would have,
given the light source in your work here...
I love the colors you have used...
I personally, would like a bit more detail the people...
but that is just me...

Now I see!!! This came along beautifully! Lots of depth, warmth, and intrigue...
thanks for the great info on the stairs, I will follow your advice on that , Yes the sky needs I think a bit more glow too, but for now I will just concentrate on the stairs, don't why i'm having a hard time them?
Anyway great to read this thread it helps a lot.:)

Love the warm and earthy colours, Ceu. As for the stairs: maybe swing the top of them to the right and that would permit you to see some of the side of the risers, and give you some perspective to work with?
