Hi Alex,
Welcome to the Marine Art Forum.
This is a marvelous piece, wonderful use of colour. You have captured the wide open windswept beach. Nice texture in sky and sand. Very well done.

Hi Alex
I like your painting, very peaceful, makes me just itch to fish.
How did you get the texture in your sand and what colours did you use.
Would like to see more.
REgards Glenda
Thanks Marty for the kind welcome and your encouraging comment,
Thanks Glenda for seeing and commenting. Colours: several glaces of siena, yellow ochre, burnt siena and cobalt blue some wet on wet, others wet on dry , all Windsor and Newton tubes.
Texture is just brush work wet on dry , considering the paper size it was not a very detailed job.

Jijo, great painting. Reminds me of fall surf fishing on South Padre Island Texas where I lived for 45 years. Would love to see more of yer work.

Beautiful painting. Reminds me of the beaches on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

I love this, I go there quiet often. "In my mind". I love the peacefulness of the land and water. They mix so well.
I think if we could walk on these shores, in times of turmoil, we could find peace and comfort.
Thanks for posting.
