Cheated on the time. Been working on it since yesterday with colored pencils. A little young girl. Just had fun doing this. Hope you don't mind.

I really like the contrast between the edgyiness of the flowers between all the smooth lines that make up the little girl adds interest to the piece - a good idea  Your good with colored pencils (I'm not that great with colored pencils :) keep up the good work

Cool Marilyn ! I haven't participated in a long time either and here we picked the same on, only I just started.

My sis will be thrilled that you shaved a few years off her ! LOL. As usual, your cp work is just suberb ! The color variations in the flowers and skin tones terric !

Welcome back !

Thank you. I just had a feeling when I saw this, that I wanted a chance to see what I could do with it. I see some hugh mistakes, but I will live with it.

The reason I don't participate much, is I normally forget. Age is catching up with me.

Excellent, Marilyn! I love the play of colors - the yellow off the blue and that stunning white hat!

Mind? Nuh-uh!
Cp does take a long time; the result sneaks up on you gradually rather than starting with a bang. This is a very fun piece, cheery and bright; I love it!.

I certainly learned a lot looking at the light and tones in this. I want to paint some people, but hesistate. This might help me.

Love the composition, the way you have cut out all the extraneous details and surrounded her with sunflowers. I like the way you have blended colours together, especially the hat, making the picture so much more interesting and lifelike.

This is lovely - and I really like the cool shadows on the flesh. A lot of work here, so no-one minds the extra time! :)
