Thank you lisilk for your beautiful pictures. And history. :D
I worked on this about half an hour Canson 85 lb, 3b pencil. I don't think the perspective is quit right. But I enjoyed practicing this.

The perspective looks pretty good to me! I was very attracted to this photo but was scared to try the perspective in two hours. You did very well and it's a great sketch.

Very nice drawing. I like the value range and feel of texture. The perspective looks fine to me also.

That's a lot of buildings to get done in 2 hours - I don't see anything too far off in the perspective either - tremendous job!

I think it looks just like it should...have spent many hours traveling back roads and looking over at old mining ghost towns, or some with a few inhabitants still...you caught it just like that...leaves me wondering what the history is...good job!

It's a lovely drawing and the perspective look pretty good to me. Remember these are buildings built on a slope that have been beaten by harsh weather conditions for 150. Come to think of it, Your drawing looks much better than real life. ;)

Thank you all so much for your kind comments. :D Maybe I judged to hard about myself for the perspective part.
I'll go to look at the others, I saw there are many. So it will be a nice evening to see what others made. :D

Well drawn! Congrats on the scan too - many of us find pencil work difficult to scan but you've reproduced the tones well! :)

Amazing work in only 1/2 hr, Joanna !! I find the perspective perfectly OK also. Lots of line to keep the eye busy, and very interesting flow of vision. Give yourself a big pat on the back for a drawing well done !

You are all so nice. I love to do this kind of drawings. It is also a practice for the next season. When the drawing course starts again in September I have to take my sketchbook with me to show my progress.
Charlies Mum, the scans with this white paper are a little gray. Then I use autocontrast(?) in photoshop, then it looks on my screen just like it is on the paper. :D
