Just a reminder that the 3rd World Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature at the Smithsonian Institute/International Gallery opens next weekend in Washington DC, June 19-July 12.

More information at this link....http://www.si.edu/visit/whatsnew/ripley.asp

If anyone lives in the area and can attend I would dearly love to hear about it. Was planning on attending, but just couldn't make it. I have a painting there, and am itching to hear about the show.

(Painting can be seen at....http://home.earthlink.net/~jrobbhall/)

It is a real pity that you could not attend after all Minibrush, especially as you have a wonderful painting in the exhibition and were looking forward to going. But I guess there is always next year (fingers crossed for you). Your dedication to miniatures will triumph eventually.

I hope someone able to attend can provide the feedback you would like - unfortunately it is a long way from where I sit.

Cheers,

Geoff

Thanks for the sentiment Geoff, it's appreciated. While there will be more world shows, not in the US again, for a while at least, I suppose. The WFM hosts one every two years, I think the last one was in Australia. Maybe the next one will be in a super-fabulous, exotic, "I alway wanted to go there" place. ;)

Thanks for the very nice compliment on the painting as well.
