Got a bit carried away with the white cloth thing, and thought it started to look a bit like sea spray. So I thought "in for a penny, in for a pound", and here we have 'white water tomatoe rafting'! Think I've had too much wine.....

Haha -- they look like someone wanted to warm them up with a feather boa! What did you use to get this effect? Is it air-brushed? CP? Love the highlights on the tomatoes, too.

hmmmmmmm, Andrew, maybe you're on to something? I'm wondering if a glass of wine would help me and my tomatoes??? :D

They look just like tomatoes! Nice colors, skin looks firm and shiny. And before you eat them, a little salt spray just enhances the flavor!

Forgot to mention, these are digital love apples - Corel Painter and a Wacom graphics tablet. Cheers!

LOVE working while "wine-ing" - and your tomatoes are amazing! Very dramatic!

And the white water effect is very fun! :D

Luscious. The extra part is fun.

Such drama in those tomatoes... then the whimsical touch of the feathery stuff. Like a giant tomato chicken laid giant tomato eggs in a feathery nest. This is very different, and very weird. I like it!

The unexpected is always a show stopper and this work brings it to a screeching halt!! Very interesting interpretation.

Reminds me of the time when I got into the "bubbly" and went bobbing for tomatoes.. :D :D Beautiful job, Andrew.

Fabulous, looks like rabbit fur to me.

Tomatoes in a nest... I wonder what kind of bird laid those :D maybe an artist?

The feathers are very nice, and the tomatoes too.

Beautiful job on the tomatoes. Perhaps you just think they will taste heavenly and you have put them in the clouds. :D

LOL Andrew - must admit I thought you had given them a soft furry bed to lie on - but whitewater rafting sounds good to me.....lol. Looks great!!

Yup, I'm on the 'bed-of-soft-Leghorn-chicken-feathers-in-nest' team for these luscious tomatoes. These look like the hearty and delicious grown-at-home kind, not the perfect and perfectly tasteless 'plastic' tomatoes in the stores, so why shouldn't they be nestled in a soft farm hen's nest ? Anyway, one doesn't need to justify or real-ize these lovelies, because the painting is just so beautiful !
