Hello all, heres my offering, Duncans Point.

I normally dont do figures but this time I thought it was time to really accept a challenge!

Odd effect! This is the second watercolour I have done that looks like I have done it with pastels!!!

Created on 140lb cold pressed paper, my usual Coterman Travel Pallete, in 1 hour 25 minutes.

Love the mix of pictures to paint!

All comments welcome!

All the best.

You certainly met the challenge of the figure and the rest is just as good. I see how it looks like pastel, though I can't quite explain what I mean.

NICELY DONE! I especially like for foreground and the colors you used - and I think your figure looks better than the photo!

Great job!

I think the mix of colours and texture in the foreground give it that pastel look. This is really well done -makes you feel like you are really there -awesome :D    ( geeeez I hate this clappy guy what do I keep clicking it for? ;) )

I really like the look of watercolor and ink lines. This is very nice, very delicate. If I didn't know better, I'd guess you'd painted it from life. I get a good sense of distance and dimension from this painting, just like I do from a good plein air. Very nice job!

Nice use of complimentary colors....I too like the use of the broken outline for emphasis.

This came out very nice. I especially like the way you captured the breeze in the shirt.
