Love the dramatics in this picture. I tooks 6 photos and can't seem to get a good focus. This is oil on canvas paper 16X12. Not the usually way I paint with oils but was trying to get it finished in two hours....
You are off to a really good start with this. Even with it not complete, you can feel the atmosphere from the lighting. Nicely done.

Yummy colors that work really well with the mood of the darkened theater.

This is going to be amazing. Your colors and drawing are right on the mark, and you're doing a great job of capturing the reflected light. A very complex subject to attempt in 2 hours. I can't wait to see the finished painting! :)

You already captured the lights in the theatre, beautiful. Hope to see it finished. :D

That is a lot of canvas to cover in the 2 hours, after a fairly detailed drawing. But a great start.

Very Nice Anne...You have already captured the mystery of the theater in your treatment of the lighting high above. Will look for the finish. :D

Good start Glenda on a difficult subject: I liked this ref too but thought it would take too long to do - you're doing really well here :)
