i admire your work in crayons
i think the forms are struggling to emerge
in this one
maybe because it is looser than usual?

thanks, I'll examine it more. I guess I'm pushing the envelope on the looseness. I wanted more separation and contrast in the color scheme. I like it personally, although I cringe about a few trouble spots. Maybe, these are the same spots that are affecting you?
Thanks weighing in :D

you could do anything with this.
the longer you might spend doing it
the more excellent it seems to get.
you could do it with acrylic, or watery paint
too like pollack.

You are so positive. That helps. I'm always appreciative-beyond words- of your encouragement. Pollack? I'll think about it. His stuff was good without any form. Wish I could do that. not yet.

a nice addition to the series nathan. i, personally, am enjoying the looseness alot and think you should keep it going. i also like the colored background. a refreshing change from the normal dark ones. expirementation is good. keep reminding yourself of that. great expression too. like always.

I agree, I like the loose, like the color.
In this one I'm appreciating not just the stroke but the 'particles' that make this up; those lines contain their own interest in addition to creating the subject. I think it's working and I'd love to see you try more. Press that envelope, buddy.
