The story is this........

This little boy got in a scrap and landed a poke in the eye. His mother sat him down for a time out, and his best friend is being sympathetic:)

Did this in Painter with the round camel brush for the most part. Foliage is with an artist brush, background is airbrushed, and I also used the distortion brush on the water.

I've included close ups of the boy's face and the puppy. Hope you enjoy it:)

Gloria, what a cute scene , love colors..and Perspective...
only nit pick (and that happens to me)
*in the close-up picture, the eyes of the dog look like human eyes ;)

you really are going for a collection with this style

Had to see the whole image after seeing the detail shot in the hair challenge.

This is fantastic, I love the way the whole image links together, great perspective and brush strokes.

This is lovely - I could have sworn it was a watercolour. I see you have made lots of creative artistic changes. I really enjoy seeing your work, and think its a great advert for digital art.
