I enjoy working in several medium...when I can't get motivated I usually grab my camera and go bug hunting :) There is so much going on in this photo I just had to "catch" it.

Microcosm was taken during the early evening ...we were out getting some pictures of the new house and the lilacs were in bloom and it had rained ealier in the day thus the water droplets:)

Below is the pic that I got Honorable mention for...unfortunately the size adjustment doesn't do this one justice...full size the tiny hairs on the plant stems are visible and the whole thing just draws you in :)

Lol...actually my favorite photo I have taken so far is not one of a bug at all. It is of the inside of an orange hibiscus flower...all of the colors are just....vibrant! I will try to post it after I have resized it for the forum...again the resizing won't do the photo justice (I'm currently trying to find someplace that can blow it up bigger then the 8x10 I already have ) but hopefully the depth can still be felt :)
