Thanks Jeanette and Impulse.
It's quite big for a watercolour- 30" x 24".
I loved the pose- simple and strong:)
I also did a small oil of the same.

since quite serendipidously this is
my first visit that i can recall to this forum

powerful composition
hugely successful with the strong diagonal
pose of the figure accentuated
the light and shadows following
the same pattern

the light in the upper left quadrant
leads the eyes constantly back
where they belong
