I loved the pictures :D , difficult to decide what to do. So another sketch on Canson 85 lbs, and a 3B pencil, Edinburg Castle, because I have been there myself too.

Nice drawing - you've got the sense of castle on top of the rock - height. Well done! :)

Speaking as another lucky person who's been there, I can attest to the strength and cragginess your beautiful graphite drawing illustrates. It still feels like an impenetrable fortress today! You've done a wonderful job here, Joanna !

I was there 20 odd years ago too. The strength of the structure hadn't changed. Next to the original cannon though were a couple of additions-two howitzers.

Thanks all of you for your very nice comments, and ofcourse Stoney for the beautiful pictures, it was 2 years ago I was there. They say it's always raining in Edinburgh, well we had that rain. So dark pictures. But OH what a wonderful country. Hopefully see you next week. :D

You're welcome YYcat.... :)

It's much dryer in Edinburgh than it was in the part of Scotland I was stationed at.
