Is there any other way to blend CP's other then the blender? :confused:

earlene you can also blend by not blending
by fooling the eye with color...letting the eye do the blending...use transparent layers

You can visually blend by laying colors side by side and let the eyes do it...you can use white or another light color to blend...you can use the turpenoid or rubber cement thinner to mix them...you can also use certain erasers and they will blend the layers together when you use them with just the right amount of pressure...you can also let your pencils do the blending for you, if you have enough layers on you will see they can blend rather easily after a while...I've also used this rubber tipped funny looking "brush" that I have that does the job as well...

Oh thank you Arlene and Ivy. Those are super suggestions. A friend of mine went to the library today and checked out the book Colored Pencil Solution Book. WoW it really has a lot of wonderful things in it. I really do think I am going to buy this one. Well worth the money I think. You all here at WC are just the neatest people on the internet.
