I have been advised to stop sending paintings so rapidly. But I am enjoying it. In this terrible week it has allowed me to not work and think of other things. (although I have averaged 3 hours a day)...The ever-guilty painter speaks!
This a painting of the woman I love, asleep.

She is quite beautiful! Both the woman and the painting, in fact. But I'm amazed at how prolific you are!

only slow down if you will wear out soon.
I would guestimate the world to be be functional at least another 8 months, so if your current posting rate leaves you with nothing to do before 8 months, slow down.
otherwise keep them coming, and paint like a crazy monkey too!
interesting triangular ingression of color into sepias.
is diane close to you?

Jerry! Stop it! That's scary!
Anthony, I insist that you keep posting rapidly - I just can't get enough of your work! (And you never did tell me if I can see it at the National Portrait Gallery?)

I'll give the world 6 months.
So, hurry up. I want to see them all. they are just great.

Helen, my portrait of Graham Greene was in The National Portrait Gallery until recently when they re-hung everything to make it look hip. We'll have to wait until new curators put the great XXth century writers back up....
If I have it scanned I'll post it.

Thanx Anthony! :)

Indeed it has been a very sad week. But at least you have won a bunch of admirers.

Just beautiful! Very colorful and bright, but somehow very serene at the same time!
