Oil on Canvas
The people seem so close, and yet so far away, almost unreachable. More like an illusion. Maybe it's because of the black strip at the bottom..
I am very curious to see the outcome if you put all the paintings of the series together- one next to the other.

I like a section of this including a cluster of people at the left.
as if you are saying too much with blank spaces, but your personal renderings are so much more important than the blank content (quasi conceptual anti-content?).

This board has been rolling on so fast I almost missed this and that would have been a shame. It's beautiful, as are your others. I particularly like the modulation of your yellow into pink.

MelG- I painted them as a series - 25 I think- and exhibited them all together. It's the only "series" I've evr done, but I went on because I learnt something new every time. I stopped when I felt it had become repetitive.
Thanks jerry and glowbug.
