View Full Version : AmyH's drawing framed

Bought one of Amy's drawings and thought you might like to see it framed. Matting is wrapped in a grayish linen, framed under glass with a simple black frame. Looks good don't you think?

This was shot at an angle with a digital camera to avoid glare from the glass

Again - apologies for my ignorance if I didn't size this right.

What are those 3 bumps on the lhs? Did it get damaged?

Cindy - think the paper was in a 3-ring binder. Was going to have the framer cut that side but then decided to leave as is. I liked the idea of the visual "fracturing" of 2-dimensional space.

I like it with the holes, mame- good call.

it's obviously a sketch, it just still has it's umbilical.

thanks for posting, lucky dog.

not appropriate for me to say it looks good is it? ;)

yes the holes are from me taking apart a hand bound (by string) sketch book. I agree with not cutting the holes off. I have some paintings on large paper, and I left the torn holes at the top (from ripping it out of its pad), then float mounted it lettin all the edges show. It is as mame says a great way to dimensionalize (word even?) the piece. :)
