11 x 14 Oil... Pleine Aire... It felt good to do this today... Only had a couple of hours... Very wet and changes can still be made... Thank you for any comments.... [My arbor looks like it's listing a tad left, but I think that's mostly due to angle of digital photo...]
Nice freshness and looseness here, perhaps a few dark accents might punch it up a little. Good work! regards, alva

I see it,
how do you feel about it?
Jeanine this is different then your usual. Reminds me more of Monet type work. I like a lot of color so I'd say more color But then What do I know? LOL I can't do this type of painting. I'm too uptight LOL
But I like it alot *S* Very scenic *S*

Thank you all for comments!
Alva > Darks look darker in original... Good point!
Jerry > I feel this narrowly escapes being a cliche' painting... I'm happy about using more paint, working quickly... I think it succeeds in drawing the viewer into a world carefully restored by shop owner, Peggy W... What do YOU think???
Luvy > I had to limit my palette to get this done in 2 1/2 hours... If I add color, I'm afraid of it looking too much like a "tourist" painting...???
