We are 2 1/2 hours to the east (W-S). I haven't been to Asheville for over 13 years...how sad. What made you leave the mountains? The scenery up there is wonderful...

Yeah, but they have winters and I'm allergic to winters. Winters are not allowed in Pasadena, California, as anyone who watches the Rose Parade on New Year's Day can attest! :D
